My Bio

Hi there, I'm Marlen Powery! I was born in New Orleans and moved to Miami when I was about four years old. I am of Cuban/Honduran heritage.  I am a mom to a very feisty, strong, independent, and sassy 11 year old little girl(definitely giving me those unwanted white hairs)!  I am very happily taken by the most amazing and incredible man on the universe!  My second child is a big fury baby(a.k.a. dog).  His name is Bruno and he is the sweetest boy ever!  I love to read, write, and dance.  Dancing is my passion!! I'm always dancing lol! Oh I love good food! Who doesn't right!? One of my favorite past times is finding new restaurants to try, specially desserts(major sweet tooth guys)! 

Anyways onto the blog...I've been wanting to start a blog/vlog for a very long time but for some reason I just never did.  Honestly, I think I was too concerned and worried about what people would think...but no more! This blog is about positivity, inspiration, and empowerment.  From parenting to relationships, self love and empowerment, to every day life....sometimes we ALL need someone! If something I post or talk about can brighten someone else's day then I know I did something right! So, I do hope you stick around and enjoy! Xoxoxo, Marlen
