The Date Bite: Harry's Pizzeria(Coconut Grove)

Can you ever go wrong with Pizza?  No.  Can you ever have too much cheese on your pizza?  No.  Can people who don't like pizza be trusted?  Negative.  If you know me, you know it's one of my favorite foods...pizza is life! It really takes a lot for me to get tired or bored of pizza lol.

For this Date Bite, we checked out Harry's Pizzeria in the heart of Coconut Grove.  Situated on McFarlene Road, just a brisk three minute walk from Coco Walk, is Harry's Pizzeria.  Whether you're looking for a casual date night or grabbing a quick bite with the family before catching a movie, it's outdoor seating and brick oven centerpiece make Harry's Pizzeria a welcoming environment for all.  If it's not too hot(or if you can bear the heat) choose a spot from their outdoor seating area for some people watching.  Pair that with their attentive customer service(my water glass was never empty) and flavorful pizzas and you'll be coming back for your second visit!

We went basic first with a Classic Cheese and then mixed it up with a Mushroom pizza.  I can tell you that there is nothing basic about either of them!  Cheese is cheese, cheese is great...I mean there is nothing to explain. The mushroom pizza had me a little worried but it was surprisingly delicious.  The sauce, the cheese, and the mushrooms blended so well, it was perfect.  I was enjoying my pizza so much that I even forgot about the creepy duck lined wall to my right(I'm scared of birds)!

The crust is a thin crust and although it's not a crunchy thin crust it's not soggy either.  No one likes soggy pizza!  No, at Harry's Pizzeria they've perfected the thin crust to have just the right amount of flexibility so it folds ever so slightly as you tilt your head back to take that bite.  Oh and did I mention they are vegan friendly!?  All you have to do is ask and they'll make any pie with vegan cheese(definitely trying that next time).

Besides the fact that I was complimented on my hamsa hand bracelets and my 1998 Too Faced pink lipstick, I think it's safe to say that we'll be back for more than just a second visit!
