Easter in Quarantine

Alright, so I'll keep this one short & simple....I know that we are all dealing with this "new norm" that has been thrown at us during this "pandemic".  Just because we are in quarantine and we are all being good human beings and staying home(I hope), doesn't mean that we can't make Easter fun for the kiddos! For all of us actually!

Check out some at home Easter activities for the whole fam!

Baking:

You can bake an Easter cake, cupcakes, or cookies...or all three!! Have fun with it and let your kids use as many sprinkles as they like!

Cooking:

Cook a meal together! Breakfast, lunch, or dinner...take your pick, but everyone gets involved and has fun! Yes, it's going to be messy but it's about bonding together and creating memories that everyone will remember!  So, leave the cleaning for last...(and this is coming from me, the OCD nut job lady that cleans every day sometimes twice a day)!

Easter Coloring:

Just Google & print your faves!  Don't have a printer? No problem!  Draw your very own Easter pictures!

Easter Slime:

Make your slime like you normally do just use a little food coloring to add some pastel colors for Easter! Oh, if you want to make your slime "fluffy" use some Barbasol shaving cream!

Make A Bunny Mask and Tail:

All you need is some paper plates or construction paper, cotton balls, and some markers!

Hide & Seek:

For this edition of hide & seek, the seeker has to hop like a bunny!

Jelly Beans in a Jar:

Grab a mason jar, or any clear container you have handy, and fill it with jelly beans!  Everyone has to guess how many jelly beans are in the container and whoever wins can get a free pass on a chore of their choice for the week!

Quarantine Egg Hunt:

Well, on the plus side, since this egg hunt is inside the chocolates & candy won't melt!!  Seriously, why haven't we done Easter egg hunts inside before!?  If you wanna switch things up, have the kids hide the eggs and the parents look for them.

Easter Egg Tower:

Think of it as Jenga, but with your plastic Easter eggs...open them and stack them up as high as you can without it tumbling down!

Easter Family Movie Night:

Doesn't necessarily have to be an Easter movie per say, just gather everyone up, grab some snacks, and pick a movie everyone loves!

Ok, guys, I have safe the best for last...are ya ready!?

**DRUM ROLL PLEASE**

Toilet Paper Easter Bunnies:

Ok, well, since ya'll decided to go on a shopping spree for all the toilet paper(I still don't understand) this one is for you!  So, grab some white paint and put those toilet paper rolls to good use!
